At September 9th 2004, ARM announced ARM had signed the agreement about ARM Jazelle Technology Software Kit (JTEK) Licence with Hopen Software Engineering Co.,Ltd.

The JTEK technique can be integrated into Hopen’s JAVA Virtual Machine (HVM) and can enhance the speed of HVM, optimize capability of HVM supported by ARM926EJ series microprocessor chip. At the same time, the JTEK provide a favorable running basic for JAVA 3D kit.

July 2004, Beijing Science and Technology Encouragement office announced the result of 2004 Beijing Science and Technology Encouragement first choice. The book Embedded Software and Hopen System written by professor ZhongXiChang and Researcher ZhangNi, published by Beijing University of Aeronautic and Astronautic Press has been published in Jun and the amount is 5000 volumes.
